WASHINGTON, D.C. — Another strong voice starts at Washington Examiner’s commentary desk today, as Emily Jashinsky joins the team.
Jashinsky served previously as spokeswoman for Young America’s Foundation, the nation’s largest conservative youth outreach group, where she spearheaded media initiatives against bias on college campuses. Her work has been featured on The O’Reilly Factor, in the Washington Post and on Good Morning America. She is also a regular guest on Fox News and Fox Business.
“Emily’s wit and insight will bolster us in our mission to be Washington’s most important conservative commentary page,” says Commentary Editor Tim Carney.
Emily, originally from Waukesha, Wisconsin, graduated magna cum laude from The George Washington University in 2015. This past year, Red Alert Politics named Emily to its “30 Under 30” of leading young conservatives.
The addition continues the expansion of the commentary desk: T. Becket Adams recently brought his media insight to the page, and Philip Wegmann joined in October. Jason Russell, now Contributors Editor, has recruited a roster of more than 60 regular writers to cover all areas of expertise. Notable contributors include Hadley Heath Manning, Veronique de Rugy, Grover Norquist, Michael Rubin, Ilya Shapiro, and Capri Cafaro.
Providing intellectual capital for the nation’s capital, Washington Examiner brings readers excellence in news coverage, reporting and thoughtful commentary. Washington Examiner is published by MediaDC, a subsidiary of Clarity Media.
